Welcome to the Ski Sawmill Ski Patrol website.

We are a National Ski Patrol Volunteer organization providing first responder service for the Ski Sawmill Ski Area in north central Pennsylvania.

The Ski Sawmill Ski Patrol is in the Eastern Division, Western Appalachian Region of the National Ski Patrol.

OEC Patrollers Refresher
Location:  Ski Sawmill

Patrollers MUST bring completed workbooks to the refresher!
 
Course Number: E124190004
 

How to register for a refresher or other course

  1. Sign into the National Ski Patrol website (www.nsp.org) using your NSP number and password.
  2. Once signed in, click on “Course Schedule.”
  3. If you have the course number (E124190004) enter it on the "Course Number Equals" box on the form and click “Find.”
  4. Click in the link under the title column "OEC Refresher C"
  5. Click “Register Myself.”
  6. Click “Proceed to Checkout”
  7. There will be no charge.
  8. Be sure to click “Submit Order” to complete the transaction.
  9. An ORder Confirmation will appear on the screen and will be emailed to you as well. Bring this with you if you are going to a refresher at a mountain other than your own.
  10. Don't forget to bring your completed workbook.
 
 

ICS 100 Course - Posted:Tuesday, September 03, 2019
The ICS 100 Course must be completed by all patrollers before our fall refresher.
  1. Sign into the National Ski Patrol website (www.nsp.org) using your NSP number and password.
  2. Click on “Course Schedule.” from the links at the top of the page
  1. If you have the course number (E124190003) enter it on the third line of the form "Course Number Equals" and click “Find”.
  2. Click on "Incident Command System 100"
  3. Click “Register Myself.”
  4. Click “Proceed to Checkout”
  5. There will be no charge.
  6. Be sure to click “Submit Order” to complete the transaction.
  7. A receipt will appear on the screen. A receipt will be emailed to you as well.
 
Then:
 
  1. Go to the FEMA IS-100.c course page: https://training.fema.gov/is/courseoverview.aspx?code=IS-100.c
     
  2. You will need to get a FEMA training account
     
  3. To create your FEMA SID, in the Take Final Exam box on the right, Find and click on "Register for one here"
     
  4. In the box that pops up, right click on the link and select Open in New Tab (this will make returning to the course page easy).
     
  5. Complete the FEMA SID form, make sure you record your SID#, then close the page to return to the course page.
     
  6. Click on "Interactive Web Based Course" on the right
     
  7. On this page, at the top of the page the box should read:  "Lesson 1 - Course Welcome and ICS Overview"
     
  8. Use the buttons at the bottom of the page to navigate through the course.
     
  9. On the first page, there is a link to a "Printable version of the entire course" that will open in a new window.  You can scroll through the entire course with this.  I'm not suggesting that you use this as a crib sheet for the course quizes or the final test.
     
  10. When you complete the course, there will be a link to the Final Exam,
     
  11. Or return to https://training.fema.gov/is/courseoverview.aspx?code=IS-100.c  to take the Final Exam.
 
You may receive the PDF copy of your test results in 10 minutes.
